One of my chicks is laying on her side breathing heavily. I don't know if it's pasty butt, because I did clear it up a little bit with a moist q tip. She has drinken some water and now is trying to sleep is there any way to help her? She is 3 weeks

Please do a search on this site for "pasty butt". There are several things you can try. If it's a emergency like it sounds you can VERY VERY CAREFULLY AND GENTLY try to apply some oil to the vent area to help get things moving. You can also give it orally if she will accept it. Is she still eating and drinking and drinking? Try to help lubricate her vent to get things moving. Make sure no hard blockage is blocking the vent. You can soften it with warm water or oil. If that doesn't work and it's still stuck you might need to VERY CAREFULLY cut off the hardened area stuck to the feathers. I wish I could be more help and sure hope she gets better!

Thank you very much, but she did not not make it to today
