Hello! I'm a first time chicken owner.. we got our first chick last week. We ordered 15 from Cackle hatchery. We got 3 each of Buckeyes, Dominiques, Gold Laced Wyandottes, Light Brahmas, and Easter Eggers. The hatchery was even kind enough to send us an extra Wyandotte and EE.
I love sitting with them. I'm figuring out their different voices and what their sounds are meaning. It has been so much fun. I spent a few months looking through the posts here and have learned a lot that makes me feel capable of doing this. So thank you all!
