I have a broody chicken. I found her nest in a bad spot. my girls free range 14 hrs a day. She would be safe enough but any hatched chicks would fall. I really want
to encourage her to brood.
Do I move her and the nest down after 1-2 days? Wait a week? Wait til they hatch?
Today is day 1. We have been clearing the eggs from this spot but my girls (14 of them) prefer this spot because last week we cleaned the coop and they got all flustered.
