Sunny - our mystery bin chick #1

Thread Starter

I picked this chick out of a mystery bin because of her wings, they were very long (as long as her body) and had a pretty pattern. Sunny was my largest chick for a while until my cockerel's outgrew her.  She is very skittish. I am almost 100% sure that she is a pullet but I have no idea what breed or combo of breeds that she is.  She looks nothing like my BO's, but then again my BO's don't look like BO's.  So if anyone has an idea of what breed she is, please let me know.

Thanks,

R

My crew so far: Hubby, Blue, Jack, Lollie, & 24 chickens.
Hens/Pullets: 2 Production Reds, 3 Black Australorps, 3 Brown Leghorns, 1 White Leghorn, 1 New Hampshire Red, 5 Buff Orpingtons, 6 Easter Eggers & 1 Cuckoo Maran.
Roosters: 2 Production Reds.

My guess is a New Hampshire.
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.

Some of my birds.

She was in the same bin as my suspected PR/RIR and they had the same pattern on their wings as day old chicks, thanks for replying! :)

She looks like a light sussex/wellsummer cross.

I have a chick that looks just like her and is about the same age too.

Did she have a black or brown spot on her head as a chick?

21 chickens. 3 horses. 2 dogs. 1 cat.

I love to jump horses and kick up dirt 'round the cans!

Please read about my chick Owlet in her blog!

I love caring for special needs chickens and am considering starting a Special Needs Chicken Rescue.

No, I don't remember her having a spot on her head. I will pull her 2 day old pics and post them later. Thanks for replying "chicken19"!
