So I'm completely new to raising ducks! I have four little ones. I've had two for a couple weeks, the smaller ones less than that. I'm not quite sure on their age or breed. I think I have a Pekin, White Crested, Rouen, and some type of Runner maybe? I'll include some pictures! They live in the basement during the night and are outside during the day. What kinds of vegetables do you feed? I know the leafy greens and peas/corn. Are those frozen, or canned? And will having different kinds of duck affect how to they are as a flock? Thanks!

You are going to need to feed them auch greater variety then just greens and corn. Do you feed your birds commercial feed? Or just kitchen scraps? Ducks need a wide variety of foods and very importantly they need lots of protein. Insects, worms, fish, are all probably on a wild ducks diet and yours will need at least that much.

Yeah I probably should have put that they are also on an unmedicated feed. I don't remember the percentage of protein off the top of my head but I know it's correct for ducklings at the moment. I was thinking more along the lines of treats and stuff to "spice up" the feed. They get insects and grass and all that good stuff daily, they free roam during the day while I'm out there!

Ohhh OK. @Debs Flock
You can treat them with just about anything. I do not know what foods to avoid, but hopefully Deb can tell us.
One thing that is important. Your ducks need more niacin then they can get from chick feed. I was told to supplement Brewers yeast, not Baker's.
