no, there isn't a way to seperate them until after the chickens go out to the coop. (we will hopefully have it done this week) they are all fully feathered and driving me crazy in the house. once they go outside, I can seperate them, but they still won't be able to see each other. this whole adventure has been one huge learning curve. when we got the chickens we were told that we had at least 6 weeks till they would be feathered and ready to go outside. they are only 5 days older than the remaining ducks. they should have gone out last week.... yikes!!
and I've never had a vegetable garden before. my friends tease me that i'm REALLY good at my job, and my job is killing things, not growing them and keeping them alive (although thankfully i've never had an issue with dogs or cats)
this is also my first couple months of home brewing, and I'm making a compost pile for the first time too.... lots of new adventures.
hopefully the duck pulls through. she might find herself named if she does.
