I bought these peafowl at an Amish auction and was told it was a male and female. But the female had the same barred patten on her back as the male. Is this possible? Or have I ended up with 2 males?

You have 2 males there.

1 wonderful husband, 1 terrific son, 2 dogs, 7 cats, 3 guineas, 5 chickens, 1 tough turkey....RIP Turtee (2005-8/28/2015), and 46 spoiled Peacocks.

I ended up with two females. Where are you located and maybe we can trade so we both can have a pair?
I'm in Louisians.
