Hi eveyone,can someone tell me if my mallard is a male or female

Welcome to BYC.  Going by bill color, I am going to guess that you have a young drake.

I know drakes also develop a tail feather that curls up - but, don't  know what age that happens.  You may also want to check out the "Duck thread."  just put that in the search box and it will pop up.    Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens  :frow

Hello All!

I joined in 2012 but never posted. So, here I go!

I have ten chickens (one rooster, 3 hens and 6 peeps I got this year).

I live in Northern Maryland, hence my screen name.

Anyway, hello (or peep peep)!
