Can a 3day old chick have bumblefoot?

She's now 7 days old and it is not getting any better. I can cut her foot open and clean it like the videos show, but I've been hesitant because she's very young and I did not want to shock her little system. She does not put weight on it except to hobble when necessary and she eats and drinks just fine. She's an expensive Jubilee Orpington and I already had two drop dead, so I want to keep her.
Does this look like bumblefoot? If it is, I am shocked it is in such a new little chick....

Don't do any surgery on her foot, since at her age she doesn't have bumblefoot. She may have a foot injury or have stepped on something that caused swelling. It may be a sprain. Just keep an eye on it, and make sure that she is not being picked on or trampled.
 
UPDATE: Great news! Her swollen foot is healed. I did put lavender, tea tree and a little oregano oils on her foot, several times a day for about 4 days, and on about the 6th day it was back to normal. I'm not saying the oils cured her swollen foot.....but ya never know!
She's walking again and her foot is normal. When her foot was swollen, she would hobble on her wing and sat most of the day. I would make sure that she ate and drank--I really thought she would die--but she didn't! Thanks again for the help--I love this forum!
