So I had a bantam go very broody all of a sudden a few months ago and I have no roosters so I assumed that she would give up after a few days and she didn't.... so my neighbor gave me some assorted fertile duck eggs and I out 4 under her. They were growing great. I candled them every 5-8 days to make sure they were still alivr. I'm thinking they are day 25 or 26 so I checked one quickly for anow internal pip and the aircell is all of a sudden massive in twour of them. I'm pretty sure I saw movement but maybe I imagined it? The other two look great

Before the egg is internally pipped the air sac will draw down and look quite big. From what you have described I would say this is what's happening so your duckling sounds to be getting ready to start the hatching process. Check out this on draw down ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...arn-chat-meet-new-friends/35760#post_16404687

Good luck with your hatch :fl

I love that thread. But when I say large I mean it's taking up almost more then half of the entire egg
