Breed of 4 week old chick

My last one in question

Thank you. At what age do you know for sure it is a roo? I believe we have 2 and I realize that's not a good thing with only 3 hens. So I'm wondering when do I need to rehome? Will they start fighting around a certain age? Is there a chance it could be a hen or is it pretty clear this is a rooster?

A pink comb on a chick under 6 weeks is a sure indication of a cockerel. No chance they are girls. Most of the time, males that are raised together will learn to get along, or at least tolerate each other. There will be some fighting at about 4 to 6 month of age, but once they figure out their own pecking order they can live peacefully together. Some boys, on the other hand, will not tolerate other males at all. Cockerels can be difficult to rehome, so put an ad out on craigslist or on your local facebook buy/sell page as soon as possible. And don't ask too many questions.

Thank you!!! My local feed store will sell them for us. Luckily. I just wasn't sure at what point I should give up hope on being girls. Thanks!!
