Please help.. 5 week old silkie chick barfing all over!!

I have a 5 week old silkie chick that I noticed was sleeping a lot and hunched over. I have dealt with sour crop in older chickens so that is what I checked first. Her crop was huge and very very squishy. I rubbed it a little and put ACV in the water this morning. I just went home for lunch and checked on her and it's worse! This time when I rubbed it she started throwing up all over. I was surprised at how much liquid just kept coming out. I had to change my clothes.. It was all over the place. I'm scared when I go home at the end of the day she might be dead.

Is there anything else I can do!? I was using hay as bedding because the chicks just kept eating everything else I put in there. Could the crop be impacted with hay she ate now?

Any help or advice is really appreciated. Thank you

If she is alive when you get home I turned mine with sour crop upsidown to let all the yuck run out and then fed her some yogurt to get some good probiotics in her and made sure there was plenty of grit in all sizes available for her and it improved almost right away,

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try it. She just keeps throwing up, she also is now not eating or drinking on her own. It doesn't look good. She was just sleeping and suddenly held her head up high and more fluid ran out. It seems like after I rub her crop just minutes later it's full of fluid again. She is a silkie so this could be a genetic defect I sapose.

It doesn't look good... But I am trying my best to save her. Going to let her rest awhile and then I will try to put some mash in her beak again made with ACV and probiotics. Maybe this is impacted crop NOT sour crop?

Any further advice appreciated!!

This is Lois.. She made a 100% recovery! I just felt like sharing the good news. My husband held her up side down and more liquid ran out, and I also gave her some mash, ACV.. AND a few drops of colodial silver. If we hadn't done these things I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have made it much longer. She's happy and healthy, and we love her.
