:ep  Wowza!  That is a nice looking coop!!  It's pretty, plus looks very well-built.  That's some nice workmanship there!

Caretaker of a lovely mixed flock including: australorp, plymouth rocks, wyandotte, d'uccles, silkies, EEs, andalusian, and a few seramas, plus a golden retriever, great dane, and three cats.  I always swore that I wouldn't succumb to chicken math.  I lied.

Holy cow! Super nice! Please post a pic or two of the interior once the chooks take up residence.

6 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 6 Columbian Wyandottes, 6 Australorps, 3 Speckled Sussex, and 4 Red Sex Links (at least I think they are RSLs).

Did you just build this?

Seems I saw those nests/poop board long ago....curious how it's all working out.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

Quoting centrarchid:

"Make every effort to understand your chicken's biology and the environment that supports it."

My husband wants to know if you're a cabinet maker by trade!!  He has strong carpentry skills, and was admiring your handiwork. :thumbsup
