Wanted: guinea fowl York PA

I would like 2 or 3 guineas. Are keets hard to raise? Should I look at getting adults? Are males easy going or should I stick to females (I understand I would need to get adults to know that) thanks!
 
I don't know anything about guineas except they are great tick eaters, and sound alarms loudly if they see anything amiss. Please put "Guinea thread," in the search box and it will pop up for you.
