Warning poop photo... My 4 day old chick has runny poo.

She's sleeping next to the other chick most times. She eats and drinks at least as much as the other. She's a tiny bit bigger. Her breathing is bit faster than the other too. She's active when I take them out of their box to play, but sleeps most of the rest of the time. They were vaccinated but I mistakenly fed them medicated feed. Could that be it? It's just the two of them in the box.

What were they vaccinated for?

Did they receive Marek's AND a Coccidiostat?

Looks like cecal poop. Chickens have a cecal poop about 1 out of 7-8poops.

How is she acting? Puffed up, lethargic?

Chicks have bursts of activity and then sleep quite a bit, since they grow so fast.

Thank you, Wyorp, that eases my mind. I called regarding the vaccine and it was mareks so the medicated feed was warranted. They seem happy and healthy, albeit a bit cold today because of the turn in the weather. I'm using the heat-padded tent method to simulate being under a hen. They seem to like it, maybe too much. Lol.

As they get older and feel more comfortable and safe they will explore and be more active. This is the time they will nap during daylight hours, when they get older they will be up from dawn until dusk doing "chickeny" things, so not much time for naps when they become "adults":)
