Hello! Single chick hatched two days ago. Had been flopping around, eyes open, chirping. Moved it to the brooder yesterday. Last 24 hrs it has become very weak. Won't walk around, can barley lift its head, won't open eyes, breathing much slower. Started the electrolyte mixture of brown sugar, salt and baking powder. Did not have baking soda. Hope this is ok! Dripping it around the back of its beak, not forcing it down, worried about drowning. Should we be holding her to stimulate? How much electrolyte should we be giving? Don't want to leave her alone but worried if we do she will die. Please help first timers.
