Hi welcome-byc.gif Amanda

Glad you could join the flock! What a lovely pic you have posted there! I'm afraid I'm not a duck person but I'm sure if you post on the duck section the keepers there will be able to help you. Here is the link ~ http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks

Good luck and enjoy BYC frow.gif

Nice to meet you Amanda.   Hope your  duck has a good hatch.  I think the important part is to protect from predators, otherwise mama should keep watch over ducklings. Ducks just can't fight off predators like Geese do.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
