If you are solid on 2 months (8 weeks), then I agree...they look like roosters all...but full body shots would be better.


That's a lot of pink/red comb on the lot for pullets for 8 weeks.

EE's also follow a general pattern wherein the boys will be blotchy in pattern like a quilt while the girls will have even patterns like a kaleidescope.

Any color blotch, especially red/brick/dark mahogany on the wing bows, will be male.

Black and white coloring is predominately male in the EE world. Gold partridge is usually female, but that is a lot of comb on that red bird, which is also not the typical gold hackle brown partridge pattern of a female EE.

Full body shots will help further.

If they just are 8 weeks old, I'd say cockerels, but they seem to be older than that to me. Age can make a lot of difference.
