One of my Rode Island Red hens has started purring as she walks around and today I saw her mount 2 other hens. She is 2 yo now and as of right now the only rooster in the flock is 10 weeks old so isnt quiet up to mating just yet.
My question is will this effect her egg laying or something I need to think about culling her for? Or is it just more of a dominance thing?
