help sexing buff ducks

I have three buff ducklings. I don't know how old they are because a lady gave them to me. She said she got them from tractor supply.
I don't have any pictures of them. They have feathers on their chest and tail. They're all still peeping with the occasional quack. They all look the same except their bills. Two of them have a brownish colored bill and one has an orange bill.
Can you sex them by their bills? When do ducks start getting their sex feathers?
Also, I have 2 pekin hens and they are 5 months old and still haven't layed any eggs. When should ducks start laying?
Thanks! hugs.gif

With feed store/hatchery ducks, they are usually not sexable by bill color... the best way to sex them is their voice, once they change from peeping to adult tones... this should help you tell the difference...

The drakes curled feather doesn't come in until their adult molt... that will be the second set of feathers they will get almost as soon as the first set is finished coming in...

Ducks can start laying anywhere from 5 to 7 months or so... some lay early, some lay later...
