hi i don't no if this is something that will stop are not but i have had my chickens for over a year now and we just maid a new coop and run for them they have been in the old coop and run this hole time so this is the first time we have ever moved them and now i see that when we come and go out of the cage some of them run to the door and try to get out they never did that be for and i also see that some of them are passing back and fourth by the door i don't get it they naver acted like that till now will this behavior ever stop ?

They get stressed with any change ( even minor ) and IMO move to the new coop is major.

Try adding something of interest - like a flock block - to the new home to give them something to do?

OK i will try it thanks do you no if they will go back to there old self's are will they stay like that now ?

As sunflour pointed out, chickens don't do change. Really. They hate it! In fact, the best way to get them used to the new coop more quickly is to coop them up for a few days.

But yes, they will adjust to their new digs. They won't always stay in this snit.
