Yolk Sac Infection - Anything we can do

Now this one is not good at all. You want to get it up off that dry newspaper. Newspaper is going to stick to that and rupture it more than it is. Plus newspaper under little chicks feet can cause chicks to get splayed legs because there is no "grip". I would definitely get this one in a cup with a wet paper towel in the bottom. See if it absorbs any of that yolk. if the yolk starts to run out I would consider tying it off up near the navel and cutting- but only as a last resort. Ruptured yolk sacs have much less chance than just a chick with an unabsorbed yolk sac.

I used nutri drench on all of these at home and have them in a makeshift brooder for now. When I left work 3 were zipping.

What can I do to clean these few chicks up. Can I do anything about their butts
Just make sure 1/2 of the brooder is heated/warmed to between 90-95F with a cool side that they can move away from the heat if they need to.
