We are on day 21 of our classroom hatch

We have had 5 eggs hatch and 4 more that have zipped.

We have had issues with our humidity throughout the entire incubation period.

All eggs that have hatched are not fluffing up and are showing varying degrees of yolk sac infection.

Is there anything we can do.

Our temp is at 97 and the humidity is at 89 and no matter what we do is hard to control.

Should I leave the hatched chicks in there? What can we do?

Is there anyway that you could share some pics of what you are seeing? What signs of Omphalitis are you seeing?
If you have a brooder set up, and are comfortable doing so you can move them to the brooder. Your humidity is plenty high enough and they won't fluff in that humidity.

I used nutri drench on all of these at home and have them in a makeshift brooder for now. When I left work 3 were zipping.

What can I do to clean these few chicks up. Can I do anything about their butts

From the pic, this looks like a little of the yolk sac unabsorbed. And it's such a small amount that I wouldn't be too worried. As a precaustion you can put a damp towel in a mug and put him in it (in the bator or brooder) until it finishing. Most likely it will dry up and leave a small ball of the membrane behind that will fall off.

That looks as though the "navel" hasn't actually closed. You can but bacitracin or neosporin (withOUT pain relief) on it and see how it does.

That's just a little left over "cord" that will fall off (or you can cut it.)

And I don't see anything here.

Temps and humidity can cause navel/yolk absorption issues. I think once you get that regulated and controlled, you will see less of these issues.
