It certainly isn't a hawk. It looks like a bearded chicken, I'm not sure what breed.

I too agree that Bruce is not a hawk but a chicken. Possibly an Easter egger?

It is definitely a chicken and NOT a hawk. I hope it has survived being let loose in the wild. Inaccurate information is worse than none at all.
