Alright, so I just had an Australorp/RIR hatch last night in my lg incubator and his legs look like they are backwards. I've dealt with splayed leg before from hatchery chicks, but never anything like this. I'm wondering if I can tape them like splayed legs maybe? Wanting to see what other people with experience in this situation have done, and if anyone has been successful. Going to take a picture and finish post from my phone. Any help is appreciated, just want to do something soon since he just came out last night, maybe there is a better chance if caught early? Not sure.

Here are some photos I just took. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

full shot while laying on his back, legs go out to side but hug close to body, just turned backwards

Side body shot, you can see the severity of the direction they are going.

Holding him up, the legs do not dangle, they stay hugged to body

He cannot stand, rather his legs just simply sit in a way to where they are not under his body and his feet face the wrong way.

He does have feeling in his legs, I can pull them and he gets irritated. He is perfectly content to have someone hold him so he can sleep. I feel horrible because I don't want him suffering. He will not be able to get to water or feed when the time comes. Need to fix soon if possible.
