I am in disbelief.

The problem I have with any trap that isn't trap and release is that I am a crazy cat lady with 10 cats. Some I feed but are wild and live in my barns and grain bins. Couldn't bear to hurt one of them.
If you're going just to release it, don't bother trapping anything.
Feeding wild animals will likely only make your chicken predation problems worse.

Coyotes love cat, honestly they do... Having a lot of feral cats walking your property is like baiting for bigger predators...

So, it's not really a dogPROOF trap is it?
[/quote. Yes I'm saying if the dog proof trap has a push or Pull trigger a cat or small footed dog can be caught. With the push trigger all the animal has to do is get their foot into the hole to set it off. It's not gonna do any damage to the cat or dog but they can get caught in them. I trap a lot but mainly trap coyotes. If anyone wants a trap coons they should use a dog proof trap that has a pull only trigger.
