(John boy and Miss Betty)

I have 1 rooster named John Boy, he's a pure sweater (Gamecock) with an average weight of 7 lbs. Around 2 months ago I had to leave home for work reasons so I left john boy in the care of some of my kin folk. When I came back My rooster had dropped down to 1 pound or so and was to weak to get on his roost. I've dropped his roost down to 6 inches off the ground, moved him to some fresh grass, and started feeding him more so that he'd hopefully get back to his normal feisty self. Any tips and/or advice to getting my bird back to being healthy would be very much appreciated

Normal feed is 1 1/2 Vienna cans of 12 percent, but right now I go out every few hours and if he ate all of his feed I give him more.

If he were mine, I would continue to feed him as much as he will eat, and as soon as he appears stronger I would worm him. Did the hen stay in good condition?

The hen lost some weight and got sick with the last rain we had down here so moved her out to my buddies place since he is a vet. Put my white kelso and dom hen in with the sweater so I could expand my farm a bit more and wanting to see how pretty their hens and stags will be
