Can you keep 2 cockrales together

I have some chicks I think may be cockrales can they stay together and live together ?

There are a lot of things that factor into whether or not that would work. Number of hens, amount of space and personality of the birds to start with. Until you've tried, there is no way of knowing. If you try it, I would suggest going into it with a plan to remove one if necessary.

Do you have pullets with them too? When they approach maturity, you should have about 10 girls for every male to help keep squabbles down. If you have no girls, they will not have a reason to compete. Also their breed will determine if cockerels can cohabitate or not. Gamecocks were bred to kill each other so keeping aggressive breeds together would be bad, but my 3 cocks get along well enough, and 2of them pal around all the time since they are betas. You will need to watch them carefully during puberty is the bottom line.

It depends on the size of the flock, but two Cockerels are enough if it's a large flock. Also depends on the bylaws and the like.

Sometimes, sometimes not, sometimes for a while, then there will be a fight. Sometimes that settles it, sometimes not, if not they will fight and fight, often time till bloody, sometimes till death.

It says you are new egg - so I will give some unsolicited advice. Take it if you want. If this is your first experience with chickens, keep only the pullets. If you have small children under the age of 5, keep only hens. Roosters take some experience, and often times newbies do not really recognize the indicators of aggression. Roosters are a crap shoot, some can get very violent, and will generally attack small children, then women then men. Little children will take the attack at eye level, not worth it in my opinion.

Often times rooster chicks are darlings. They are brave and come forward to be petted and cooed over. People love them and are sure if they just treat them nice, like one would a puppy, they will grow up to be a pet. This forum is full of horror stories where the darling became a nightmare in an instant.

I would really encourage you to get rid of both of them if this is your first flock.

As said there is no yes or no answer, lots of variables... I have about 10 roosters in my coop right now and there is no blood shed... Sure they have some spits for spats but nothing beyond that...

But, I have a huge coop, a lot of space lots of hens and a diverse flock with a lot of dynamics...
