Hi all,
We just got our first four chickens from an acquaintance who had extra chicks. She believed they were all girls, but after watching them develop and reading a lot of posts on this forum, we now think 2 are cockerels. Just looking for confirmation before we proceed with finding them a new home and getting some other pullets. (Thankfully, we have leads on both.)
First our White Cochin (almost 11 weeks old). The consensus on these forums seems to be that this much red, this early means cockerel.
Second is our EE (almost 10 weeks old). Seems to be a cockerel based on coloring (reddish color on wings).
