Hen laid egg covered in yellow goo

Could someone help me figure out what this yellow goo is? She laid this egg today. Her eggs range in color, and are prone to oddities such as sandpaper texture, what I call "airbrushed" blue spots, etc. this is the first actual blue egg she had laid, but it had all of this yellow stuff on it. She has no vent discharge, but has been quieter than normal the last 2 days, hanging low in the woods. She is a 1 year old crested cream legbar.

I agree, the eggs appear to have something a bit "off" about them. But she is laying, and that's a good sign.

I don't know what the yellow secretion might be, but eggs sometimes are not exactly pristine when laid. You may be able to tell if it's yolk or some other vent secretion by holding the egg under some lukewarm water and gently washing the yellow. If it's a vent secretion it won't dissolve. It will stain. If it's yolk, it won't stain, but it will wash off.

If you can narrow it down to it being yolk, that may be a sign she's internally laying, and that could present problems down the line.

Watch her behavior. If she has health issues, she will go from vocal to mute. She will be lethargic and may hang out in the coop or on the sidelines with her tail held low and flat. If that happens, start her on an antibiotic.

If she's behaving normally, there's no cause for worry at this point.

She went downhill fast this morning. She laid yesterday, but now refuses to move from her roost and her poop is bright yellow. I know this is not a good sign. I don't have access to antibiotics for her until Friday :(
 
She passed a few hours ago. That was very, very sudden. I am guessing it was egg yolk peritonitis. :( She was my favorite chicken.
