I was wondering if its bad to feed your chicks tiny blades of grass? They really liked it! But still not as much as rose petals! Its not bad to feed them a rose petal and tiny blased's of grass is it?

Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! :)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Hi and welcome to BYC. If you do not provide grit for your chicks, then i would advise against giving them anything but chick starter food. You can maybe post your question on the http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/11/raising-baby-chicks forum for advice from the experts.

Best wishes
