This is "Surprise" the 10 week old cockerel. His mom was a Silver Grey Dorking and daddy possibilities are Easter Egger, Gamefowl, and a Barred Rock/Welsummer cross. I got rid of the Barred Rock cross a month or two before the hen laid this egg that became this cockerel. Could he still be the dad or do Silver Grey Dorkings have a hidden barred gene? Or is he not even barred?
