New from Ohio

Hi, my name is Vanessa. I'm kinda new to all this but I have 2 Peking ducks, about 10 weeks, and 10 chickens, half of which are 10 weeks or so and the others are about 17 weeks. Not really sure about the breeds of them though. As I said, I'm new to this so I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions lol.

:welcome Vanessa!  I got my first chickens in 2009, and I still occasionally learn something new about chickens and their care.  I haven't ventured into ducks.  Enjoy the forum!

Caretaker of a lovely mixed flock including: australorp, plymouth rocks, wyandotte, d'uccles, silkies, EEs, andalusian, and a few seramas, plus a golden retriever, great dane, and three cats.  I always swore that I wouldn't succumb to chicken math.  I lied.

Nice to meet you Vanessa.  I think if you post photos on the duck thread, they can tell you how to sex your pekins.     Welcome to BYC.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
