Here's a pic of my once sick Tom that I believed had black head. It's hot outside but he's the one standing on the left. As you can see he lost some weight but his colors are good and snood hanging down over his beek again.

I would say minus the weight he lost he's darn near 100% now.

I'm so encouraged by your posts - thank you! I have a peacock with blackhead and am desperately trying to get him better. We're in France and don't have the same meds available as most people recommend here so while he's getting some ronidazole and a strange dog antibiotic, I've been trying to treat him with cayenne pepper as others have recommended before. I'm going to try your way though of soaking some peppers in hot water. Perhaps that helps it absorb more quickly!
