Barred Rocks Gender

Thread Starter

I posted previously but decided to start over and add more pictures.

So we have 4 Barred Rocks and they are about 5 1/2 weeks old.  We are guessing 1 pullet and 3 cockerels based on feather coloring... but hoping we are wrong, haha.  ;)

At least one of these possible males started out with the "distinct small head spot" and darker legs, leading us to think female... but now, they are looking too light.

Also wasn't sure what age this breed starts getting the pink comb (this is much younger than our ISA browns turned pink).... so does that also mean definitely male, or is this normal even for females?
