Will Mosquitos kill chickens

We just moved to a new state and where we moved to has a lot of mosquitos. We have lost two chickens in the last 4 days. Was wondering if anyone knows if the mosquitos could be the cause of death. Where we lived at before we did not have this problem and we never lost any of our flock. Any help would be great.

We can get a lot of mosquitoes in the summer, but I have never lost a chicken to them.

Chickens off and on for 25+ years and still learning.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm just worried it could be the mosquitos. It's only May and they are really bad here.
