Hi everyone! Starting in the next post I am going to do a baby robin's diary. So on May 17 2016 one of our 11 month old hens died. Before she died my mom came in the shed and comforted me and then Henrietta had a seizure so I went out beside our shed because I hate seeing my babies die. Then I looked down cause I was going on our hammock swing and there was a baby bird laying on the ground, and I thought- "thanks Sammi (our cat)" but then the little bird moved and then (I was crying my head off at this time) I put it on a little table and I was thinking, oh great- Two deaths in 5 minutes. Then my mom came out of the shed and told me that Henrietta is dead and then I told her about the baby bird and then we brought it inside and warmed it up and gave it some food and now here is Henrietta Jr.

R.I.P Henrietta the chicken

So I will hopefully be uploading every day or other day with pictures and words. We are really busy right now so you might have to wait a few days. Day 1 will start with a picture

I know this is on a chicken thread but I didn't know where else to put it

Edited: Henrietta Jr. died but now it is a "raising baby birds, all you need to know thread!"

Day 1

Ugh, I am soooooo tired! I ate like 10 worms. Whenever the giants take me outside I can hear my mom chirping for me. I chirp back. I really miss mommy and my brothers and sisters. All I have left of my baby feathers are on my eyebrows. Did you know that I fell out-of my nest? It was over 10 feet high! I injured my leg so if you giants can pray for it that would be AWESOME! Here is a picture of me napping

See you soon! *YAWN*

try to keep Henrietta Jr, in a warm dark place so she can be alone for a while. Being with a huge giant for a long time might scare her to death.
I will be praying that she lives a long and happy life!
That's where she is right now
