One of my girls has been off for a few weeks. She has been gaping a lot, takes naps often and has a droopy tail. I first suspected gape worms so treated her, she perked up a little bit but then went down hill a bit. Next I tried antibiotics incase of a respiratory infection (no other sign of a cold) but they haven't worked. She is now gaping more often with screech and head shake included. I can never feel her crop and she is very skinny. I've been force feeding her with soft foods and some water. The last two night she has tried to hide behind the hen house rather then going in to roost. I'm pretty sure she spent most of the day back there too. I think she will die soon and I don't know what else to do???
