Injured leg - Page 2

She is doing well, the foot still needs the shoe but not nearly as badly as it first did. She walks almost perfect with it on right now. Another week and I think she can go without it.

I made the shoe using a lid from a plastic bowl like a butter bowl. Drew the outline of the foot around it then cut it out big enough to put holes to add string so I could tie it to each toe and around the ankle. I wrapped it in athletic tape to hold it on and keep the ankle steady.

I'm so glad she's doing better! The shoe sounds like it's working really well, so I'll keep it in mind in case one of my girls gets injured. smile.png Also, she's really cute!

She is 99% back to normal. the last 1% is just her getting used to being without the foot brace. She is back with the flock and hopefully will never get stuck again lol I fixed the area where it happened so I know she wont run into trouble there.

She was thrilled to be back in the big coop she took off running in circles lol what I call the play run. Sometimes all the young ones will get into it and it looks so funny.

Awe, I'm so happy she's ok! It must have been hilarious watching her run!
