Not sure you can get enough roost length in there.

No I learned the other day it is not water tight, what do you think would be the best way to fix that?  Shingles? Metal?

6-8 Seems high, but maybe there is more demand where you are, out here is see 3-5.

 

 

Here they are fighting for a good spot to sleep, right in the corner like when they were babies.

i saw a listing on craiglist for free pallets

 

the swing set i mentioned was gone and so is this listing...

 

you probably have all the lumber to build your own coop/run here
