I have only had chickens for about 10 months now. My sis in law started a couple of years ago and I started with some from her. Over the past year I have searched the internet and BYC always comes up and has helpful information. Right now I have 19 chickens and will be picking up two more this weekend with 12 others in my sis in laws incubator. I have 2 buff orpingtons, 2 silver laced wyandottes, 2 sex links, 4 easter eggers, 7 silkies, 1 ancona and 1 Rooster named "Harley." I am not sure what breed Harley is, but he is super sweet and pretty. As for hobbies, I enjoy my chickens and reading amish books... which my husband teases me about. I also have 2 sons, 7 dogs and 3 cats.

Here is Harley my rooster whose breed I am unsure of:

I am happy to be here. BYC looks like a great community!!

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
