Hi , my girls are 13 wks old. I'm feeding them Dumor chick starter at this time. What and when do I make the change of thier feed?

You can go to grower... finish your starter up.. then go to grower.. at 24 weeks plan on going to layer.. finish up grower that you bought first.. never waste feed...smile.png

Thanks that's helpful and simple.

around here there's no grower feed

also beside the slightly lower protein % there's really no big difference between starter/grower

some consider it the same thing

so for me--my chickens are eating starter feed until they are ready to lay

if you check the back of the bags.. starter feed and layer feed differences would be protein %, calcium % and ash .

this one is form a buyer club

I have heard just that that there is really no difference from starter to grower . I like your info and think I'll follow your advise. Thank you very much.
