Just got chickens this spring although hubby and I talked about it for years. We have four red sex link and three Amerucauna mixes that are all about 4-5 months. Also recently bought two BLRW chicks and a five month old blue Amerucauna. I'm addicted and chicken math seems to be a lot like my goat math. Lol. I have to say that I have been so surprised at the personalities of the chickens! I didn't realize they would be so much fun to interact with. Each one is unique and so cool. Our chickens free range with the goats and horses morning and evening. They retire to their coop which is under a huge mesquite tree when it gets hot. I have learned a lot already on this site. Can't wait to read more!
