Good morning my husband and I received a zoning violation for ha being our four friendly, quiet, and clean Isa Brown hens from the zoning board. We live in Maumee Ohio. Our violation stayed we violated code 1103.06a stating no person shall erects convert enlarge reconstruct move or structurally Agee or use any structure for any purpose which is not permitted in the district in which the structure or land is located. Now below that it states raising poultry is not allowed in the R-2 zoning district.
Now here's the interesting part the zoning law only details that poultry raising isn't allowed in R-1 of Maumee Ohio. He clearly stated we lived in R-2. Also, poultry aren't on the prohibited list of animals not allowed. So do I appeal this?
