Misting duck eggs

Hi. My colleagues tried hatching khaki Campbell eggs last month. Out of 18 eggs only 2 hatched. We are trying again hoping for better success. I have read that they should be misted with warm water starting at day 10. Thoughts?
 
I tried misting and the ducklings ended up sticky, I am assuming due to too much humidity. We dry hatch in a still air but misting might help if you have a forced air incubator due to the fan making it drier.
