Introducing baby chicks to older chickens

Hi there!! So we have a sex link and Easter egger that have just started laying eggs and are in heaven! We wanted to add a couple more chickens to our coop so we got a white Plymouth Rock and Australorp. They are 4 days old. How do we go about introducing them to the older chickens? The baby chicks will be in a cage on our porch and not be sleeping in the coop til they have feathers. I'm just curious if we can bring them out to the older chickens here and there during the day to get to know each other. Thanks!!!

Yes, but they will need some way to be separate so they can see/not get to each other.

When my new littles are out and about with me, I just keep an eye on the adults (and teenagers) to make sure nobody chases after them, but otherwise, they are contained to where they can be out, but are safe from anybody trying to chase or peck them.

I took my little chicks and sat outside with them in the grass. The big chickens would come over to see what I was doing and at first the little chicks would get scared and hide under my legs. Over time though they got braver and would go towards the big girls to check them out. Sometimes I distracted the big chickens with treats so they pretty much ignored the little ones. By the time I put the small ones in the coop, there weren't any problems because they all knew each other.
