Vitamin A is another one that some chicks just don't seem to metabolize well. That's what I treat with when I see the symptoms you describe. Poly vi Sol baby vitamins or cod liver oil.
 
Sad news, we lost her. We replaced her with another young one, just cleaned bad pasty butt. Watched her for a little while and she acts behavorly odd, she hides under all the other birds or tries to jump on their backs. Also have not seen her eat or drink. Any suggestions as to either. Thanks

Go get corrid sounds it might possibly be coccidiosis. 1 1/2 teaspoons per gallon of water for 5 days and then follow up with vitamins and probiotics. Spot clean cage daily. If its seperate from the flock keep it that way. If it's in the flock treat them all! Good luck.
