A couple of months ago, two teenage boys knocked on my doors asking if I could foster a rooster they found left in a public park in a cage. I have had hens for 4 Years (despite my towns ordinance prohibiting them) because a friend got in trouble for having them so he relocated them here. I agreed to foster him on a temporary basis, but they are not able to take him back. He needs a good home before I get fined and told my hens have to go, too. My BOH is extremely unreasonable. I didn't realize there was an epidemic of roosters in need of homes. Any help is most appreciated! I've been told he is 1 year old. He is docile and kind. Thanks!
