Silkie pullet with swollen side of face and crusty eye...

The towel is a great idea. My silkie is a sweetheart and only 12 weeks old, so my heart is breaking for her. Did you just use a saline eye flush from the store? I just don't know how all that stuff is going to drain from her head?!?!?
 
I used saline, or "artificial tears", can get them at almost any store. I could not see pus and there's no discharge with my roo, I flushed his eye out as I though he maybe got some dirt or hurt himself in a little fight with one of the other boys....

Have you tried applying a bit of pressure on/around it to see if anything will ooze out?
