These feathers are coming in awfully pretty. This has to be a rooster!
 
I have an EE pullet who's feather coloring changed from a blueish to an orange and she looked patchy in between like yours. Because of that, her name is Cali, for calico. She's gorgeous. In my opinion your little one still has the possibility to be a hen!

I hope so, it's just such a big bird and a different shape than all the rest. Either way I think it's going to be beautiful.
 
I just wanted to update this post, this little one is definitely a roo! Thanks everyone for your input!
